why? because i only play with a normal controller.. not a fight pad like most people do. Should i buy this game even though i dont own a fight pad? i dont want to get owned online just because i dont own one.. thats a bit unfair and unbalanced on capcoms part. They shouldnt expect everyone to buy a fight pad for this game and that goes to every other fighter that includes a fight pad on consoles.

If its on the 360, then I can't really answer for you.  PS3 is fine with just a regular controller because the D-Pad is pretty good.  I would naturally assume that it would be a less the desirable experience on the 360.

You'll do fine with the regular controller. :)

Be a while before VI comes out so I wouldn't worry. You could always get some practice in on SSFIV while you wait though.
