    A Japanese voice actor, within the realm of video games Takaya Kuroda is best known to both English and Japanese speaking audiences as the voice of Kazuma Kiryu in the Yakuza series. In Japan Kuroda has voiced the character since the first game, while in America and Europe it wasn't until Yakuza 2 when Sega cut costs by leaving the Japanese audio untouched rather than dubbing the game into English.
