Namco's signature martial arts fighting game series gets a fifth main installment that continues the story of Jin Kazama and the Mishima Zaibatsu. It's known for introducing persistent player rankings and appearance customization options (requiring use of a dedicated card reader in the arcade version).
Can't say I liked it. It just felt so stiff and dated to me. I'll admit I didn't spend much time with it, but I found the gameplay to mostly seem archaic and outdated, as if the series hadn't really made much progress over the years. I tried to revive my love of Tekken with Tekken 5, but my attempt failed greatly.
So you started a Tekken 5 hate club thread which was closed, and now this? Look...we don't need a fan club thread for every game, the game's forum will suffice. Please slow it down on the spam threads.
