Terminator Salvation: Another notch in the belt of bad movie game
I am SO thankful I decided to rent this game for 2 days instead of three. The only reason I can see people play this game is to get some quick, easy achievements, even though you don't get that many and you still have to play through the game.
Set as a prequel to the movie, you're obviously playing as John Connor, only you look nor sound anything like Christian Bale, yet every other character has the same likeness. The game is a complete knock off of Gears of War. You can even tell by looking at videos of this game. The game take on average 4 hours to complete and you'll have seen and done everything there is to do in this game within the first hour, so that's 3 extra hours of the exact same thing.
The game does a few things right in it's short life span. Although it looks allot like GoW, the graphics are quite decent and the gameplay isn't a broken mess, even though there's no real variety. Gameplay consists of getting behind cover, making sure you're in place, throwing grenades, rinse and repeat.
Thankfully the didn't add multi-player. I like to tink this is their way of softening the blow and not dragging out the feeling that you just got majorly ripped off paying full price for a game that's beat in one sitting. Please do yourself a favor and not buy this, you'll be punishing developers by not playing this. You have to ask "What were they thinking?" when developing this.
