A twisted twin-stick shooter from one of the designers of Super Meat Boy. Players take control of Isaac, a young boy who delves deep into the dungeons of his basement as he is hunted by his deranged mother.
Germans have the weirdest porn and the most fucked up history, and yet they consider this blasphemous content?
that's exactly WHY we (?) are so ridiculously over-sensitive with this stuff ...
It's laughable but apparently we can't think for ourselves and have to have a huge age gate to jump over for the tiniest joke ... or well, it gets censored to hell.
This way the other countries are supposed to feel "safe" because nothing "evil" gets through to our children (yea right lol ...couldn't even finish that thought without laughing)
It is a pretty disturbing game, I don't think a 16+ rating is that unreasonable.
I have to agree with this, it a pretty gory game and with some disturbing content (even though it isn't realistic looking), I'm surprised this isn't about them raising the age-rating from 16+ to 18+.

Aaah, priceless... Always fun when I've to "explain" and "excuse" this and the whole Hasslehoff thing to my friends around the world...
I'll never forget the embarrasing moment when we encountered a sales sign in a little kiosk in Amsterdam which stated "Animal Porn here!" in German language... At this point we decided if somebody asks we will say that we are English or Scandinavian... at least not German ;)
