    A commendable effort

I'm not going to pretend to got the story, just understand this game is very bloody. This stylistic button masher borrows heavily from Behemoth's games, and the art style of Johnen Vasquez. The game can be classified as a beat-em-up, but has enough depth and style to separate it from the voluminous amount of other similar titles. While the game sets a fantastic first impression, the overall gameplay never changes, thus becomes tedious. If you're a fan of the genre, and can overcome extreme difficulty, Dishwasher is an easy title to recommend. Otherwise, it's nothing too special.

Lol, I thought the same exact thing. It's pretty much the same flow of the ign review with the exact opinions, using the same words Hilary used.  GG

Don't really appiciate that backlash. It's a reader review, don't take it too seriously. I don't understand why its bad that me and Hilary had the same opinion. That shit just happens sometimes. I've written over 40 reviews for this site. While they arn't too awesome, I think it shows I at least know how to construct my own review. Don't get all mad because I'm the only person who's been negative on the game.

Anyone who's read both my review and Hilarys review can easily see they are no the same. While we share a similar opinion, I didn't "steal" anything. I don't understand why/how anyone would steal an opinion about a downloadable videogame. That's just silly. Saying I stole anything from Mr. Goldstein is as silly as saying I'm copying my friend's clothing style because we both own polos.

Highly Frustrating, yet Highly Rewarding. 0

The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai is a recent action game created by the one man development team of James Silva, a 2D game with tons of flash in a unique art-style that really sets the game apart. But does the game have enough substance to find a way to cut its way to your heart, and wallet?   The real thing that sets this game out from others is its unique and crazy goth/emoish art style that has a very hand-drawn feel to them and they do look really good. Some really intense things graphics-wise a...

The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai - Review 0

The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai is the creation from Ska Studio's James Silva. It is a 2D side scrolling beat em up with loads of flair. The Dishwasher was the winner of Microsoft's initial Dream-Build-Play game development contest in 2007. Silva received $10,000 and an Xbox Live Arcade publishing contract.Over 2 years in the making, The Dishwasher finally hit XBLA last week. Let me start by suggesting that you play this game on the 'easy' difficulty to start with. The game will beat your ass on 'n...
