Same one from the start. though I've swapped perks out with the console.
Started as a light armor-wearing dual wielding sneaky type. Was getting my ass handed to me by dragons though, and even normal encounters started going south more and more quickly as damage mitigation didn't seem to be scaling well with the damage I would take when spotted.
Went over to heavy armor, sword, shield, healing, and casting. Got my ass handed to me by casters every now and then and tougher elder dragons but everyone/thing else was cake.
I decided to swap back to light armor and sneaking since I had more skill in those areas and perk points to move around...but man, it still kinda sucks compared to tanking it.
Seriously, at 37 or so, everything short of trash mobs will pretty much destroy you if it comes to straight up combat (as opposed to sneaking/sniping). You either gotta be damned lucky with the crits or take all day trying to stalk and memorize the shitty pathing of enemies praying they don't spot you. Otherwise you're stuck trying to get heals/potions off before you get 3-shotted and trying to make up your armor deficit with spells. basically damage mitigation is still too much of a problem. I'd kill for a block while dual weilding, btw. Though I suppose there's no simple way of doing that. Gonna have to look into the perks a bit more and see what I can move around. Maybe consider focusing on alteration more.
