    The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Game » consists of 30 releases. Released Nov 11, 2011

The fifth installment in Bethesda's Elder Scrolls franchise is set in the eponymous province of Skyrim, where the ancient threat of dragons, led by the sinister Alduin, is rising again to threaten all mortal races. Only the player, as the prophesied hero the Dovahkiin, can save the world from destruction.

Stealing works like in Fallout 3/NV, right?

If no one sees it, there are no negative consequences? The guards won't magically know I'm carrying stolen goods and I won't be attacked by the original owner - as long as I'm hidden? And I can resell the stuff to whomever?

Well, I'd say there were negative consequences in Fallout 3. It definitely affected your karma.

@nemt: I meant nope as in not like Fallout. I imagine anyway. They wouldn't make stealing redundant as that would ruin the thieves guild stuff. In Oblivion you had a fence who you sold your stolen items to to gain ranks in the guild. I am hoping it is like that again.

Some hired thugs showed up and fought me, calling me a thief. One was carrying a contract letter from someone named "Moira." Not sure if it was related to the petty looting I did here or there.

Moira? She must be PISSED about the millions of people that killed her over and over in Fallout 3. Shit.

@Mikemcn: That is way too awesome. Better keep a couple of buckets in the inventory from now on =P
