Yeah, I dont't think I would consider that the best pre-order bonus. I remember when I bought Oblivion and The Shivering Isle expansion. Both of those came with a map. And I didn't even have to pre-order something.

Yes it's cloth. I remember reading about that. Pre-order gets a cloth map, non pre-order gets a paper map.  But so what. I already got my Dragon Age: Origins cloth map. Don't need anymore maps.

I'm pretty sure that a map has been done before.

Pre-order bonus' suck. I have never really found one that meant much for me to put down my money for a game I can just buy on release. The map is cool, but like every other map on the planet that came with a video game, its still sitting in the box, collecting dust for me.

Lots of games have had physical maps included, and not even as a preorder bonus, before. So unless this is some kind of cloth map I don't really see what is so special about it.

And yes, it is confirmed to be a cloth map. A paper map is included even if you don't pre-order.

They really haven't said anything about digital pre-orders, so this is just my guess. They might send it to you, but there's no precedent for that as far as I know.

What they should do is send it to people on request.

The map isn't just going to be laminated or whatever. Bethesda themselves said "it's a high-grade material that has a feel similar to burlap." 
 
I think it's a pretty cool bonus. It doesn't penalize you for buying from any retailer by walling off in-game content, and it's actually going to be decent quality. Going to look awesome.

i would make a joke about cloth map i meen i hate them there pointless i still have one of hogwarts from the half blood prince game but i actualy used the one from oblivion and would rather like it

I don't know why they aren't including a premium Dragon armor set.

I think it's good for a pre-order bonus, better than some in game armor or weapon that after sometime becomes non usable as you run into better off weps and armors. So something you can touch and hold and look over when ever I think is better. The best ever? Idk to each their own. But to me It's a pretty good pre-order bonus.

The best pre-order bonus is Amazons same day shipping and the $20.00 they give away.
