    Overview

    The formation of The Initiative was announced by Phil Spencer on stage at E3 2018. At the time of the announcement the studio was still in it's infancy, but Microsoft stated that it sees The Initiative as their "quadruple-A" studio.

    Their first title, the reboot of Perfect Dark, was announced during the The Game Awards in December 2020.
