I've always been apprehensive about talking about The Last of Us. While it was garnering critical and commercial acclaim, I was wondering what the big deal was. The gameplay is pretty poor, the story very derivative. That all changed with the second entry. This game is great. It plays so much better than the first, it's true, but the real triumph is that I actually care about the story. I almost never care about game stories! Literally on the edge of my seat wondering how the developer would conclude this epic project. It's a solid game, a terrific story and I can't recommend it enough.
