Could we perhaps finally get some difficulty options..? Please?

I haven't played the DS Zelda's so I can't speak for those. Perhaps its been improved? But thinking back over the console Zelda's after Oot I just remember the combat being insanely easy. Nintendo struck a great balance with puzzle difficulty imo clever and not frustratingly difficult, but bosses and enemies.. urgh. A more challenging difficulty mode to boost boss health and/or amount of hearts they take off would be nice.

The combat in this looks more like a puzzle. Each enemy has patterns and leave specific openings, and you have to hit them with the right type of slash or special weapon attack.

DS zelda games were easy as well. I haven't thought of zelda as a hard game since it entered 3D to be honest. I really wish they would implement some kind of difficulty options though. I'm tired of killing that incredibly cool looking boss in just a couple minutes without even feeling threatened.

Definitely. Thats probably my biggest issue with Zelda (that and a lack of voice acting but one step at a time). I know people may say that Zelda is more of a puzzle/adventure sort of game but the combat is a pretty important part.

It just seems such an obvious inclusion at this point. You can play normal as you would any other game if your primarily concerned with just adventuring and puzzle solving. But if you want that little extra bit of challenge then maybe amping up boss and enemy difficulty could be viable. Maybe the new control scheme will work better towards that, requiring a bit more of an effort to defeat an enemy and posing a little bit more of a challenge.
