Link descends from his floating continent home to explore the dark and dangerous world below with the help of a magical sword, in this Wii installment of the Legend of Zelda series.
Looks like us American speaking folk are not going to be getting the continuing adventures of Link here in the future of 2010 as we initially planned. Sir Ass Kicker has said the game will be released when it's perfect. Which most likely means a late/Q4 launch in The Land of The Rising Sun, and sometime Q2 or sooner in 2011 for us folks who speak the King's.
Perfect could be 2010, but with Super Mario Galaxy 2 and now Metroid: Other M scheduled for this year, I find it hard to believe Zelda will make it for its intended October release.
Instead of throwing ridiculous statements like 'when it's perfect', how about Reggie tells us if they will implement new motion plus in the new Zelda huh?
"We've got this awesome new technology to make the Wii more awesome!"
"Awesome! Are any games whatsoever gonna have this awesome technology post-launch?"
Right now, it's still in development. But the key message that Mr. Miyamoto and Mr. Aonuma is telling us is that it really has to be perfect when it launches. That really is what the Zelda fan is expecting. So for all of those Zelda fans out there right now, I would say enjoy The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, and know that the Zelda title for Wii is going to come out when it's perfect.
