The legendary historical ruler of Rohan who the stronghold Helm's Deep is named after. In Shadow of War, he is one of Sauron's nine Nazgul.
He destroyed Sauron by cutting the One Ring from his hand. Unfortunately, he was not strong enough to resist its corruption, and so failed to destroy it when the time came. He carried the Ring until his death.
