    Overview

    Tom Bombadil is a minor character that appears in J.R.R. Tolkien's Fellowship of the Ring. When Frodo and the other hobbits are endangered by a tree in the old forest, he arrives at a fortuitous moment and uses the power of song to save them. Though he's conspicuously absent from Peter Jackson's film adaptation, Tom has appeared in several games based on the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
