If you've pre-ordered your copy on GoG, the remaining file chunks have been made available for download.

Don't just stand around there! What're you waiting for?

Downloaded! But my Lord, compiling is taking it's sweet time before I can install this... Wish it was a Steam style download and simultaneous install. Can't wait to play!

I actually like the GoG installer. You're allowed to install to different locations instead of just one set folder, it's easy to back up, etc. It was also extremely fast while downloading, maxed out my connection while downloading the whole thing which is something I rarely ever manage to have with Steam.

25% left here on the install! Come on!

Oh I totally agree - my DL speeds were far, far faster than they ever are on Steam. This compiling stuff is just taking forever.... If Steam had let people preload far enough ahead of time (which I hear isn't the case), the whole process probably would have taken about the same amount of time though.

Still, pretty impressed with the service GOG provides. Bought Guilty Gear X2 Reload and UT2004 from them the other week and those downloaded/installed pretty quickly and hassle free.

darn, preload is done, but I still have to finish Witcher 1 ... im pretty far into chapter 4.

[edit:] to those who were able to play it ... did they actually implement a save-game import for Witcher1-saves?
