Why can't they just release one?! Canyourunit is being extremely vague and I dont think the 360 version looks good at all.

Anyone know if a demo exists? Found one, but it uses the internet connection as the processor? like onlive... useless -_-

No demo, sadly. Your best bet is to watch some gameplay videos.

Your best option may be to pirate it, see if it works, and buy it if it does.

There's nothing wrong with pirating a game you intend to buy if you just want to check that it will run on your system. I don't really care if my view on that is disliked by someone.

From what I've heard, Witcher 2 is the best looking game to ever come on the 360 so . . .

@ItBeStefYo: You'd be able to play it at medium with some tweaking. It'll basically look like the 360 version. Also they decided to not go ahead with any lawsuit.

For real. He needs to know if he can actually play it so this is the best option. The worst is buying a game and then not being able to run it well.

@Winternet: Who said that? The developers? I saw the screenshots, Xbox version looks washed out and weird.

It's against the rules of these forums is my point. It got me suspended for two weeks so I'm giving you a brotherly advice! I'm a firm believer in checking the software before pulling out my credit card, but talking piracy = rule breaking.

Meh, they can suspend me if they like. It would be an over-reaction that we could all laugh at.

With a big title like this, I'd expect that there's a demo possibly floating around on some of the pc/gaming magazines though as I don't subscribe to them, I've not seen one but it is strange that after all this time there isn't one.

I have an Acer 4820 TG (i7 640m dualcore cpu, 8 gigs of ram and a Radeon 5650 gpu, and it runs the witcher 2 reasonably well at 720p. (Not tried past v1.35 on it)

I had to run at medium and I turned some of the effects down to low to make sure it never dipped below 30fps, so it looked kinda consoly compared to how it looks on my gaming machine, but it was absolutely playable. Not sure if it's cpu-bound at all, but I'd be willing to bet $5 you'll be able to run it just fine if you're willing to sacrifice a bit of visual quality, because I'm fairly sure the 525m and mobility radeon 5650 bench around the same, with maybe a small lead for the 525, and the difference between the cpus isn't much either.

    In 1999 yeah, but we're in 2012 now. What's a magazine?
