Great for noobies to Roleplaying games.

The Wizard of Oz is one of my favorite movies so for it to be transitioned as a game got me curious. That, the publisher "Xseed Games" and the stigma of me buying licensed games periodically for the sake of curiosity. Regardless of that other really bad TWOZ game on the NES made me thinking that this would be some platformer. Which is no problem but no this game is actually an RPG which didn't catch me by large surprise considering Xseed usually if all of the time puts out RPG's but whatever it's all good. And that's about as interesting this game gets. It's a roleplaying game that tells the story identical to the movie. You roam around a wonderfully crafted colorful world full of magical roads and shit. In other words this game looks really pretty. The battles consist of your generic pick attack wait, etc. Most similar to a Paper Mario game or Super Mario RPG. Other then that theres little to say about this game. If you "love" the movie and not like I mean the L word then this game is totally worth a purchase. Excluding any nostalgia with the movie or just a liking for it in general and your looking for a good roleplaying game. You'll get one, a good one not a great one not a deep one but a simple and genuinely fun one.
