The World Ends With You Review
This is most likely the only reason I haven't sold my DS, The World Ends With You follows the story of this super cool emo kid Neku, who is dragged into "The Reaper Game" where he must complete a new mission each day or face being erased, he is assisted by Shiki (and that's all I can say without spoiling it.)
The gameplay is every different and new, it takes full advantage of the DS's two screens and it's very difficult to explain. If you kill an enemy, that same enemy dies on your partner's screen and it works the other way around, and the game offers a fair challenge and since it's on a portable system, it means players don't have to stop playing just because they have to go somewhere, else they're going to work because if your playing TWEWY instead of doing you job, your screwed.
The soundtrack is where the game shines, from Deja Vu to Calling, all the songs in this game have the quality of professionally recorded JPop songs and The game's art style is amazing and I envy the artist.
In short, this game is nearly perfect, if it wasn't for some of the rather rage quit causing moments in the game and some poorly written story moments, it'd be perfect, but nearly perfect's good too.
