Overview
Tiles of the Dragon is a mahjong solitaire game developed and digitally published by Softdisk Publishing for DOS PCs in 1993.
It is a standard mahjong solitaire game, playable with both mouse and keyboard and using the traditional tile layout (made famous by the 1986 game Shanghai). Features include the ability to choose from four backgrounds and two tilesets, the ability to both undo/redo, save/load, and request hints, and a "tournament" mode where multiple players can alternate playthroughs to see who can score more in a specified time limit.
As the game was developed with some members of id Software involved (due to contractual obligations), it is considered one of the studio's "lost games".
