Overview
First introduced in Soul Calibur III, Tira who is often referred to as "The Misguided Angel of Death" is a girl who was damaged during the Soul Edge seeding and became a servant of Soul Edge. She works like an assassin and can control a flock of birds. She plays a part in multiple characters story always appearing and collecting fragments of Soul Edge. In Soul Calibur III she had already developed a split personality. One is happy, playful and takes a lighthearted approach to her job of killing people, but when she feels physical pain the dark personality takes over and she becomes aggressive and bitter and masochistic. The split personality has an effect on her moves and players can command Tira to inflict pain on herself to summon her darker self which inflicts damage on herself as she performs attacks. In Soul Calibur V Tira finds herself unsatisfied with the new host of Soul Edge and goes on a quest to find a superior vessel for its power.
