    There usually are alot of people playing, the problem is that they all just press the A button without realizing that there are two factions to pick. Everyone picks the 1 faction, and thus there is noone to play against them because hardly anyone picks the other Faction because they don't realize that you have to press X to switch sides (because they don't bother looking at the on screen prompts). Anyway, if it seems like you can't find anyone, just back out of the lobby waiting screen and switch sides, and then go back into the screen and you will most of the time if not always find someone to play against.
