    It is a rare occurrence for a game to so thoroughly miss the mark. Not only on a long standing, well established franchise but also on their own misguided vision. The latest and perhaps final entry in the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series is a return to the objective based arcade skating it was known for after a brief diversion towards the peripheral based, functionally questionable Ride and Shred.     Don't stomp on the flaming paper bag that's filled with Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5. 0

    Featureless, broken, and ugly, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 is unacceptable as a full retail release in 2015. Though the controls from legacy THPS games are intact - ollie, flip tricks, grab tricks, grinds – there’s no indication of effort by the developer to evolve gameplay into anything deserving of the horsepower or social gaming integration of current-gen consoles.     Superman 64, Ride to Hell: Retribution, Big Rigs: Over The Road Racing, Tony Hawk: Ride, Tony Hawk: Shred and now we have this crap. Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5. This happens to be the worst game of 2015 by far. Poor Tony, the ageless skateboarding legend that I grew up with since the X Games hasn't had a fair share of success these days. Instead, I don't know who come up with the idea of bringing back the beloved Pro Skater series. Pro Skater 2 is without a doubt still one of my all-time great skate...
