    Broken. Absolute Broken.

Superman 64, Ride to Hell: Retribution, Big Rigs: Over The Road Racing, Tony Hawk: Ride, Tony Hawk: Shred and now we have this crap. Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5. This happens to be the worst game of 2015 by far. Poor Tony, the ageless skateboarding legend that I grew up with since the X Games hasn't had a fair share of success these days. Instead, I don't know who come up with the idea of bringing back the beloved Pro Skater series. Pro Skater 2 is without a doubt still one of my all-time great skateboarding classics.

But it turns out that I'm losing faith of the franchise's distinct roots because when this game came out, I just said: HELL NO!!!! This is definitely NOT the reboot I'm looking forward to. If you wanna buy it, just wait until they change the price to just $10.00 at Wal-Mart.

Unlike THPS5 itself, in my perspective, this game should've looked like a very incredible PS2 game. Instead, all of the features in Pro Skater 5 is a cannibal success for failure. It rushed way too late when it arrived. Awful framerate, busted camera angles, wasted controls, the graphics are horrendous. Even worse, where's the Story Mode? And whatever happened to the Multiplayer additions? Sometimes you just can't get away with an unfinished game that needs to be delayed until the next year. Last but not least, the somewhat frustrating missions that I would not get into right now is pointless.

I'm also very disappointed that Hawk's former developer, Neversoft, was eventually merged with the COD people (well, former COD people) at Infinity Ward and sooner or later, Hawk's time with Activision will soon be officially coming to an end if they're not giving much support of new and old fans of the namesake every kid busted out their OG PlayStation controllers to defy gravity and punked out the other jabronies at your school rocking out to the entire soundtrack of every Tony Hawk game they love. R.I.P. Neversoft. Those were the days. I wished they should come back one day and bring the nostalgia where it belongs right here.

No matter Activision is spending money on these franchises (like Call of Duty and Warcraft), it turn out that people should probably think about it and save your hard earn money. As for Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5, it's a slap in the face and a total insult. Just let the franchise take a rest and 2 more years will be better. Until then, don't go near this game on shelves! What an embarrassment.

      An Achievement in Failure 0

It is a rare occurrence for a game to so thoroughly miss the mark. Not only on a long standing, well established franchise but also on their own misguided vision. The latest and perhaps final entry in the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series is a return to the objective based arcade skating it was known for after a brief diversion towards the peripheral based, functionally questionable Ride and Shred. Choose one of a handful of real life skaters wearing sponsor branded clothing and boards, pick a leve...
