Transformers: Fall of Cybertron Announcement Reveals Dinobots, Sadness
Pertinent information: http://transformers.wikia.com/wiki/Trukk_not_munky
not sure why people are going on about beast wars Grimlock was a G1 character and wasn't the only animal form transformer the decepticons had the insects and later on in the comics there are ones like the Predacons.
Also fuck yeah another transformers game they may as well have my money now
Grimlock was fucking awesome. He was a dinosaur. He was a robot. He could Transform. Instantly the best toy in the world.
Uh yeah, Transformers have souls. It's called a Spark, became canon in the fiction back in the early 90s with Beast Wars. It's basically a glowing sphere of atoms and energy located in their torso's that stores the essence of what they are.
Sorry as a TF nerd I was compelled to point this out =P
Alex if you don't like the dinobots you don't like fun and a world without a fun Alex Navarro is not one i don't want to be in.

You mis-read the post, Alex is saying how people should stop getting so serious over dinobots... because they're so stupid, and so awesome. (I thought it was fairly obvious in the post itself, but apparently not)

Bumblebee, Starscream, Skyfire, Soundwave.. Transformers are My Little Pony for boys.
I'm pretty sure I knew this, even as a kid in the 80's.
@WinterSnowblind: Hehe, and it's not like I'm complaining or anything. I actually really like this naming convention.

Why would a robot transform into a dinosaur? Wouldn't it make more sense for a dinosaur robot to transform into a vehicle? Or just stay dinosaur shaped?
I guess I'm just thinking about it too much.
Also, if they're still on Cybertron, then how could it turn into an Earth dinosaur? THEY DON'T HAVE T-REXES ON CYBERTRON!
Right there with ya.
