If your after multiplayer at the expense of the campign
Transformers war for cybertron is an ambitious remodel of the Transformers game franchise and consists of two main campaigns - the autobots and the deceptacons. However, this is where the game falls apart - the bosses are not hard but annoying. You often fall off the side of the track because you accidentally jumped onto a team mates head and get forced off the side or you simply press transform by accident and loose your gripping and have to go back to the last checkpoint.
So the campaign is not the best even if it does make it a little more fun with the ability to play 3 player online co-op. But there is a great side to this game and it is the online multiplayer aspect. There are two modes, your main xbox live competitive online where you can to pick which type of gameplay you like such as Team Deathmatch and all the usual modes you expect from a third person shooter but you also get Escalation which if you remember that sore soul of a game called "Call of Duty world at war" you would remember how Nazi Zombies seemed to be better than the campaign itself and that is what Escalation is except if a team mate dies, the game doesn't end. As long as the last person finishes that wave all players will come alive and be able to play in the next wave.
It is unbelievably fun playing Escalation and my only problem with Escalation is the deceptacons with playing Megatron who happens to be able to drain HP as an ability and it means that character is really too heavily wanted by players as it really is the easiest character to play with.
I think it deserves a little bit more than 3 but because campaign was so unbelievably bad with the amount of bugs and the fact they have now released a patch which doesn't mean you loose XP if the host quits mid match - I call it a 3.5 / 5.
