    Better than the first but....

This game is better than the first, so if you are looking for a step-up from last year you will get it. Now this game offers a ton of new fighters and new moves. Carrer mode has vastly improved and decreased also. Now they added were you can have post-game interviews after the fight! great.. right? Except for the fact that your guy uses the same 3 lines all the time! Also you have a stat decay feature in this one. It seems like a good idea to keep from getting Super Create-A-Fighters but it gets very annoying. Most of your stats will decay to zero and you will have to work them one by one to certain "checkpoints" where your stats will not decay anymore. Creating A Fighter is still not all the way there yet though. It is fun to make your own guy, but they still need to add more features for your guy. Now the game modes are pretty cool. You have Tournament mode were there is a bracket system of fighting guys. So you can start in the round of 16 and make your way to the finals. You have Event Mode (this is a fun mode) where you can make your own Event Card or Download one from the previous UFC Fights(ex: UFC 114). You also have Ultimate Fights Mode were you can replay some of the best fights from the previous year(which is always fun). You can play as either side, so if you dont like if one guy kicked the ass of another you can play as the loser and redeem your integrity! Now online is pretty fun... sometimes. Right now the servers aren't the best but THQ did submit a patch to fix the lag. In online you can join camps, which sounds really fun. Now in these camps you can fight some of your other friends to get points for your Creat A Fighter. Seems fun, execept for the fact that IT DOESNT WORK! this was a mode i was excited for and am vastly disappointed in....(hopefully the patch fixes it). Now ranked games are pretty fun(after the lag on such), but there are a lot of things that need fixing. You can reverse to easily, which gets annoying, and there are a lot of Flash KO's. Overall this game is better than the first but still needs fixing in some areas.

I'll start off by saying that I am a big fan of 3D fighters.  I love the Fight Night series and the Soul Calibur series as well.  The ability to side-step incoming attacks and parry is a must for me in a fighting series.  UFC 2010 allows both of these things, as well as all of the intricacies that come along with MMA as a professional sport.  The offline fighting is smooth and the hit detection is spot-on.  The fighters are well rendered, and the character creation is great.  Fighting with your ...

Knock-out blow As a first-year product, UFC 2009 Undisputed was a fantastic start for the Mixed Martial Arts series. It accurately recreated the hard-hitting sport, with a solid stand-up game, plenty of depth and strategy to the ground and pound and its vicious submissions; an impressive bevy of fighters, and competent single player and multiplayer options. Its only problematic flaws came from some unwieldy controls and a severe lack of beneficial tutorials. Mixed Martial Arts is a p...
