Maybe I am wrong, but the voice talent playing the old guy sounds like René Auberjonois who's done lots of voice work for animation in the past as well as starring in films and TV (he was on Benson & Star Trek: Deep Space Nine). Also, that dagger was in the 1994 film adaption of The Shadow. Apparently is has something to do with Indo-Tibetan Buddhism and is called a Kila or Phrumba. Yeah, this game is still my number one anticipated release for 2009.

I just checked it on imdb.com and you are right. The VO for Karl Schafer is done by René Auberjonois. Good call.
A much more serious Nathan Drake in this clip. Good to see Elena, I thought the game would follow the classic movie sequel rule of adding a new love interest and forgetting the last one ever existed.
