This is part one of my PlayStation 3 blog series. I have owned an Xbox for all my life (you get the point), and recently purchased a PS3. I am now playing a lot of PS3-exclusive games and blogging about them.

    Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (2007)
A pity those clouds don't animate like real clouds...

I'm enjoying the game so far, but I had to drop down to easy difficulty.
    ----
Sweet music that fades in and out for combat... great sound design overall, actually. Sounds blend together very well.
    ----
I have just finished the game, and while the difficulty spike at the end was very frustrating, I felt satisfied with the game's conclusion and can't wait to play Uncharted 2 to see what's in store for me.

I'm going to go ahead and predict that Uncharted 2 will blow your balls off.

Yeah, for as good as UC1 is, UC2 is better in every way.

But you had to drop it down to Easy? C'mon, it's not that hard! I beat both games 3 times each, on Normal, Hard, and Crushing, and I'm an old fart with slow reflexes. In my opinion the game is best on Hard, you can't get hit too many times before you die. Also, I found UC2 to be a slightly easier game overall.

@Nadafinga I'm sure I could have beat it on a higher difficulty, but I was just interested in the story.

UC1 is much harder, because only the pistol is really useful in the 1st game. UC2 is so much better though, even though they're both great.

    That is an accurate prediction.

The difficulty spike drove me crazy too. I too recently got a ps3, and am playing through some PS3 exclusives. I would recommend Heavy rain, I have played a few hours of Uncharted 2, mainly because I got really into Red Dead

I just bought Uncharted 1 and 2 last week and am just about finished with 1.  I love the story but I must agree that the difficulty spike is ridiculous.

Uncharted 1 is better than Uncharted 2 in most ways in my honest opinion, both are fantastic games though, one of many great PS3 exclusive series, you'll enjoy your new platform :)-

Uncharted 2 > Uncharted 1. Very much so, actually.
