    Overview

United Front Games is a developer based in Vancouver, Canada. Their first game was Modnation Racers for the PlayStation 3 which was released on May 25th, 2010. The game is part of Sony's "Play, Create, Share" brand that also includes LittleBigPlanet. Their second game, True Crime: Hong Kong, was announced at the 2009 Spike Video Game Awards, but was cancelled by Activision on February 9, 2011. However, later that year in August, it was announced that Square-Enix had purchased the rights to the game and that development had resumed. As the franchise itself was not purchased, True Crime: Hong Kong was renamed Sleeping Dogs and released on August 14th, 2012. United Front's other 2012 release was the kart racing game LittleBigPlanet Karting, developed in collaboration with LittleBigPlanet developer Media Molecule.
