    It went quietly... that's good.

Simplisity has never really been a problem for me in gaming. A game is too easy to beat? fine, beat it forget it, but this is the first time in a game where simplicity actually frustrates me.

You will be sneaking up on some of the most dumbest people ever. The AI is obviously a AI, it will follow the same set path over and over again very unconvincingly. It doesnt really feel like your sneaking up on a person but more or less just sneaking, waiting, walking slowly, killing the guy.

The game however, looks decent. It seems more effort was put into the graphics and the art style that there was in the gameplay department. The levels as well feel really inventive and fun to explore, atleast for thefirst part of the game. After thefirst half is over you'll probly get bored and just stop exploring and sight seeing and just make a B-line for the end of the game.

Not that therereally is any motivation to get through the game. The story is ok, not great, but it does try to be inventive. You play as a hot chick who goes on these weird drug hilucinations, or something weird like that. I didn't pay muchattention to plot and neither will you.

Velvet Assassin is quick, frustrating at times, and when the action picks up, it's very anti-climatic. This might be something worth picking up if you have no choice for sneaking games andjust need to get your fix.

The former head of the UN, Kofi Annan, once said that war is always a catastrophe, and even though that was the general view of World War 2 stealth title Velvet Assassin, the game itself has much more in common with this view of conflict than nearly all other games set between 1939 and 1945.Developed by German outfit Replay Studios, Velvet Assassin is the rarest of things; an anti-war game. Much has been made of the graphic violence seen in many of today’s games, not to mention violence ag...
