A Live-Action Look at Metro: Last Light

I like the trailer.

Doubt it's a coincidence that Metro 2033 went on sale on Steam today for five bucks. Maybe it's time for me to finally play it.

That Armageddon dude is my favorite thing about this trailer.

This is seriously one of the best trailers I've ever seen. Never cared much for Metro 2033 but a friend of mine keeps telling me it's awesome, so I might give it a shot.

That was was jaw dropping honestly, The quality in this movie, god damn I wish this was just a cut of a movie they were secretly working on :c

This trailer is pretty amazing. I'd watch a film of this in Russian, sure! Although subtitles aren't needed in this trailer, I'd like them in a film.

Is Metro set in an alternative history were the USSR still exists in 2013? It looks like they're still wearing Soviet uniforms. Present Russian ones look similar but they've done away with the star in favour of the double-headed eagle.

Man what a great trailer. 2033 was one of my favorite games of 2010, I am so glad it got a sequel.

The lady is singing a well known by every Russian lulaby

The guy running down the stairs tells her "Come down to the Metro" and then same thing to people on the street.

The guy with a book is yelling about god something along the lines of "And so the God said..." then he yells "Armageddon"

The guy with a pistol in the crowd yellws "Go F yourself"

Then the guard yells "STOP"

Then mother with a kid says "I have a kid, Im begging you.."

After gunshot she says "At least take the child"...

The guard takes him and says "Close the doors"

The mother yells through the crack "BABY...."

20 years later... as he exits the Metro, that same lulaby is played in the background...

2033 was one of the most surprising games I have played and now one of my all time favorit FPS's. The ambiance and tone of the game is super cool and the story was really good to. This time I won't wait 1 year to play it because of mediocre reviews, its day one for me.

i think the trailer is better without knowing what is being said. the visuals portray much more than is needed by mere words.

If they're marketing this as a movie that's fine, but it's a video game. I want to see gameplay.

For those of you who don't speak Russian: There was a sale on drab wool coats and fingerless gloves at a cell phone case/urban outfitter kiosk in the metro tunnel. And the woman is all like, "My baby needs a form fitting black and white striped tee!" And the officer was all like, "Give him to me. We also pierce ears, if you're interested." And the woman's all like, "Are you serious? Here!" And then he's all, "Nah, just playin'. Late." Fade to black. :D
