Woo! Good timing on the archive. Missed this live, and just finished Unprofessional Fridays, so time to delve into this.

Man, going miss Austin at GB. East have been putting out some of the best content on Giantbomb in years, and he was a huge part of that.

It was great to watch Vinny and Austin nerd out over gunpla and Streets of Rage ROMhacks!

While it's a bummer that these three dudes won't be in a room together on a regular basis, totally looking forward to Austin's new thing. Giant Bomb for fun videos, as-yet-unnamed Vice site for news and analysis!

Austin, you quickly became one of my favorites and it was refreshing to see so much genuine excitement and in-depth knowledge you had for games in general.

Good luck in the future and thanks for what you did here.

I had finally warmed up to Austin not too long ago.

So I hate the timing of this quite a bit.

In the first hour of this, they talk about Gundam, play bad weird romhacks for sonic 1 and streets of rage 2, then watch a bizarre fan animation of goku vs sonic.

Austin, I'm going to miss you.

Did people know Austin was leaving? This comes as a complete surprise to me...I feel like I'm always the last to know when staff leave GB.

@sebly: It was kind of buried in the last day of E3 staff discussion, but they also mentioned it on last week's Beastcast.

Sad times, the GBeast dynamic worked so well. I highly recommend listening to Austin's tabletop podcast though if you want more of him. It's really good.

I miss you Austin. The Austin/Alex/Vinny/Bakalar combination was incredible. My favorite podcast dynamic I've ever heard.

I heard the song Panda on the radio and before I knew the name, I thought the guy was saying gundam, arguably it makes more sense than the nonsense he's trying to make a thing.

I'll never not be grateful that Giant Bomb introduced me to Austin. His was exactly the voice I needed to hear over the last year.

I'm so excited about what's next, even if I'm a little teary-eyed right now.
