As far as references go, the Persona 4 anime reigns supreme and executes them perfectly. I would go so far as to say it is the best example of a games-to-other-media transition ever made.

Also, the ENTIRE ANIME IS AVAILABLE, SUBBED, ON HULU.

They really did a good job at it. It even includes a Galactic Punt(performed on Yosuke) and God Hand(performed on Reaper).

It also does a better job at fleshing out certain characters, ESPECIALLY Mitsuo. Holy shit, the Mitsuo episode. It'll blow your fuckin' mind. So good.

Is that Yosuke imitating Teddie? At least Rise is still Rise.

For those of you who are freaking out with the Chie and Teddie getting a different voice, chill out. Atlus said they were trying to get everyone back and the best they could was everyone but Chie and Teddie. Also this is the first time hearing Teddie new voice and it may not be final so lets wait and see.

Will Demi-Fiend and Mara have a secret appearance? That would be nice.

Everytime I see something about this game I almost start re-watching the endurande run!

All I can say is they better let us play as Fox! YIP!

And it sounds like he's trying to copy the original performance, which rarely works out. Hope they do a better job with Chie, let alone any recasts needed for the Vita remake. It'd be a shame if an inferior dub muddies that version's status as the best version.

And I don't think it's necessarily true that a seasoned fighting game player would have no use for this trailer. On the contrary, I've played many of a fighting game and this is super useful to me as a brief overview of the gameplay mechanics since most fighting games only share so much with each other.
