AGGH! The how old are you sliders don't appear work on Ubuntu/Firefox, it just shows a black box with "how old are you?" written in white on it.

I went to venice when i was 14 so im really looking forward to it. Loved the first one.

Am I the only one who's not excited for this game? I liked the first one, but this just looks like more of the same to me.

Just finished the first game today, and when I decided to look into the sequel, I came across the developer diaries. I have to say, the changes they are making are very necessary to make the next game feel fresh.

Getting the collector's edition of this and I never buy those! This keeps looking better and better.

So the new stuffs is the economic system...it looks really cool though, this game :D

I love how they try to make "player can buy stuff" sound totally rad (and fail).

Couldn't disagree with your take on the first Assassin's Creed more. That game was amazing. Having Crusades' era cities come alive and delivering on the feeling of being a master assassin in that time was incredible. I still replay this game extremely frequently. And love every second of it. For me, this is my favorite game to come out so far for this gen on consoles. 
 
That all said, I respect your opinion and I understand that Assassin's Creed was , critically, a very divisive game. You either loved or hated it. I'm the former.

Anyone else think that the graphics look kinda average for a huge game like this.

Cannot wait.  Probably my most anticipated game.

It's funny how he talks about buying weapons and stuff like it's something new to videogames, I mean, seriously? How many games haven't you played where you can buy upgrades and stuff like that.

I can't wait for this game!!!!! The first assassin's creed was my favorite game ever, the only reason this isn't my most anticipated game of the year is because it's a sequel.

Time to get the hype train rolling for another mediocre game!  (hope not though)

Inconsistent use of the age gate, FTW.

I'm currently playing FarCry 2 and I can't stand the economy in that game. it's horribly tedious and i just keep wishing the game would just unlock weapons for me as I progressed through the missions, but instead I have to collect money and trudge over to the weapons shop whenever I want something better or new. I'm not terribly excited to hear that something similar will be in place for Assassin's Creed 2. Don't bore me with banking, just give me some weapons!

Seems like just incremental updates from the first game.
 
But then, they could just re-skin Assassin's Creed with no major changes and I would probably still play the hell out of it. I understand I'm probably in the minority there, though.

The weapon individualization is certainly a good idea, I was tired of being locked into the same garbage weapons in the first game.  Let's hope "economic system" doesn't turn out to be just a euphemism for "pickpocket grinding for new gear."
