Why is this coming out right after the start of the school year!? Fuck.

Gosh this game looks good. Shame I had to cancel my pre-order after that guy from Gearbox said "girlfriend mode". I mean he might as well of barged into my house on my birthday and taken a shit on my elderly mothers lap.

Hopefully he fulfills the role of villain as much as he seems capable to.

Oh Handsome Jack, can't wait to actually kill a guy as a end boss.
 
Although I wouldn't mind another Crawmerax type a boss.

Yeah, totally loved the original Borderlands. Can't wait to get my shootin' on in some Borderlands 2!!!

It's on the way on release day. I hope I get it day of, but if not oh well.

@Stubee: So you cancelled the pre-order because one of the classes is going to be easier to play?

@MonkfishEsq: It's weird how they've shown most thus far on PC, and then the last trailer is console footage with some questionable frame rate, and texture pop in.

Can someone explain why they used really terrible looking 360 footage to make this?

EDIT: I feel like they should have waited to release it on the next platforms. A long wait, but imagine having Borderlands 2 as a launch title...

I liked Borderlands, but got burned out before the end. Probably mostly because I played it by myself I thing, but mostly because I got a really good gun really early on and ended up using it for most of the game. So, as long as there are more guns this time around, and since I've got people to play with this time around hopefully I'll get more out of it.

"Girlfriend mode" is exactly what is wrong with our society today. #stonesbreakmybonesbutwordskilledmyfatherandrapedmysister

He sounds like if Nathan Drake became a super villain.

I might replay Borderlands one before this comes out.

I never noticed that before but yeah, his face doesn't look natural...

Edit: Watched again; there's totally a different pigment from his forehead to his face too.

damn the shading and the colors make this game look absolutely beautiful

@heavymetalwaffle: Pretty sure that pigment change is by design. Kinda looks like he's got clamps there stretching his face, like some kind of crazy hack-job plastic surgery. I reckon he's super vain, loves being called Handsome Jack, and wants to keep himself looking young :P He's probably older than he looks.

With his face I was sort of expecting him to sound like Eric Roberts.

This game does look pretty good.

I still can't decide though if it's worth it for me to pick this up. I played the original Borderlands with a friend online and made it through about 10 hours before throwing in the tall. I just couldn't get into it.

I remember Borderlands looking better than this...

Cool. I just started playing the first one last week. Having a blast. Looking forward to more.

His name is Eustice Filbert. He never got over the childhood taunting and teasing so he changed his name to Jack and became a villain.

The audio sounds way overcompressed.

Im pretty sure Handsome Jack is going to fight you with planet-sized mech at the end.
