Nah, that's from anime, which makes sense since he is the Anime Editor.

Done almost the same thing with my headphones a number of times.

I Think i finally found headphones that survive that kind of misuse, and also dont break when i fall asleep with headphones on and turning a lot in the sleep. Thank you Sennhieser.

(And btw, dont let them get to you Brad, you are doing just fine)

Being that Brad's voice is several octaves lower than the average human being, I'm kinda disappointed he didn't destroy it by talking into it.

Those Mics are not made by machines, they are made by poor Chinese workers at FoxCON.

I was going to make a joke about digging deeper into Brad but it's now redundant, so I'll just make a comment about how dreamy Drew is.

Drew, why you so dreamy?

Dig Deeper into Brad Shoemaker

Brad Shoemaker is an editor for Giant Bomb and a member of the prestigious Bomb Squad. He also has a slightly less prestigious phrase named after him. And before you ask, no, he is not actually leaving. It's just a running gag.

I totally forgot about this. It's kind of sad that it has to be explained in his Wiki page.

Also, http://verbocracy.blogspot.com/ is like a time machine.

It's good to know that Vinny could easily join Tested.com if he needed to. But I don't want him to.

Why does Sara always look so pissed whenever Jeff records something?

We enjoy a scant few hours of the GB crew's antics per week at most. And at a time we choose. She puts up with their bullshit 9-5, I can see how it would get old real fast. Would gladly trade places though, as I'm sure most of us would.

Aw come on! I'm sure she doesn't hate the guys, she's just working!

Anyone else notice how amazingly uncomfortable Brad always is when they throw a camera in his face?

He spends the first ten minutes of every one of these twisting in his seat and trying to figure out what to do with his arms and hands, which usually end up on top of his head.

This time they ambushed him while he was eating, (which is one of my biggest office pet peeves personally), and he looks even more uncomfortable then normal...

Don't get me wrong, I'd be just as or more twisted if people did it to me, but you would think he'd be used to it by now.

Always makes me kinda laugh to see it.

Uncomfortable awkward Brad is the only Brad I want in my life.

Too bad the office doesn't have a site where technology can be tested. In the beginning of the video Sara tries to not look at the camera.

Seriously, they're working for a major media corporation and they have to hum and haw over a busted microphone. How much could it possibly cost? I have stage performance mics that I was able to afford on minimum wage salary, I'm not a video producing business who can't afford video production equipment. Seriously, what the fuck is going on in there? Why does Vinny have to stare at a broken mic and try to figure out some sort of homemade repair job instead of ordering new freaking mics? At this point they seem more poor and desperate than when they were in the basement in Sausalito. When they had to worry about engorged cans of Swedish fish ready to destroy the entire office.

Since it is a corporation they have to jump through more hoops to get stuff done. This is why it is taking longer. Also keep in mind, since you are a premium member I'm going to assume you watched the last Radio Dave, that you know they lost a lot of their video producing equipment and the main thing they lost was their studio, which they said is still in the stages of being made. Basically they are starting over from scratch, that is what is happening and working within a much larger business than WM was is proving to slow down the rebuilding process. They have made allusions that the move to CBSi is somewhat like their startup in Sausalito.

I'm just regurtitating what they have said.

I know why it takes time, but it really bums me out that the GB guys seem to be getting the shaft. I don't understand how CBSi didn't have provisions for the new studio as soon as the buyout happened knowing that as a site that generates mainly video and audio they would be shooting themselves in the foot not getting them acclimated right away.

Indeed. Some of these videos make me feel like we need to take up a collection for these guys. Subscriptions notwithstanding.

Vinny did just get his new TriCaster. Although I don't know which one he got, they all seem pretty nifty:

TriCaster STUDIO = $7,995.00

TriCaster 300 = $9,995.00

TriCaster 455 = $19,995.00

TriCaster 855 = $29,995.00

They are pretty pricey, but CBSi eventually got that shit for the crew. I imagine due to the time and effort of getting anything through corporate, Vinny thought he'd have a crack at fixing it himself, like a true craftsmen. Good on him for trying to fix something/learn how something is constructed/how to break something more. The more you know.
