I think it looks better - the animations are good and they flow nicely into each other, it's especially great when Catwoman gets that finishing move on the last dude and the transition to walk is so damn slick.
I loved that response. Batman gives a fuck, but it's the smallest fuck he could possibly give. Reminds me of the even better one of those at the end of Uncharted 2. 
 
I think the animations look better too, but the impact of the moves is certainly lessened. The first game's sound effects were cringe inducing. I'm sure it'll still play like a dream but it really doesn't feel like the dudes being wrecked in this video are being wrecked quite as hard as they were in Arkham Asylum.

Catwoman and Two-face feel..."off". It's weird how the rest of the game is modern batman, but these two are drawing straight from campy batman. They clash thematically with the rest of the game.

I hope the Catwoman part of the game works. I have been hyped about the this game ever since I heard about it. But when I found out you have to play as Catwoman, I was a little disappointed. I thought this was Batman: Arkham City, not Batman: Arkham Kitty.

The first one was technically open world as well. You could travel all of Arkham whenever... Same deal, just a bit bigger here.

@MrMuscle:  You will only be playing as Catwoman for about 10% of the game. It will be something to break up the pace, kind of like the Scarecrow sidescrolling platform sections in the first game.
