Check Out All the Stuff That Makes Persona 4 on the Vita so Damn 'Golden'

Day One!!!!!!!!!

I ignored this trailer for over a week. I'm never going to own a Vita, and I've played persona 4 twice AND watched the endurance run twice, what more could I want.

I WANT THIS FUCKING GAME!!!!!

@YI_Orange: Nah, I get you. I always feel like I'm missing out with re-releases, too. Stuff like you mention (cosmetic options and additional equipment) could probably be handled through DLC now, but Japanese devs have tended to struggle with that business model.

You know that this stuff was all developed way after the original game's release, right? Theoretically, they could develop amazing content for Persona 5 until they went bankrupt from delaying the launch.

I know, and it makes me sad. See, I want everything but I'm not gonna wanna wait to play P5. I'm not legitimately angry at them or anything. Mostly, I want the costume changes. I'm a sucker for costume changes in games and I think every game should change your appearance with your equipment(I know that's a pain in the ass to animate though). Another anime cut scene here or there would be cool, and another fun-times event would be awesome, but really just give me the costume changes and I'll be happy.

Count me in for the bundle of people who really want a Vita, particularly for this game.

I bought a vita for this game a couple months back when it came with a free gift card (which i used to pay for persona). Man this game cannot come out fast enough. Also, third time this game has been street dated and pushed back. I think they backed out of the 30th of October so they wouldn't have to compete with Assassin's Creed on the vita.

Five years later...

NEW ENDURANCE RUN! ENDURE IT AGAIN, FOR THE FIRST TIME!!

This stuff looks great, but probably not enough for me to get a Vita. I'm at least glad that you can walk around town, unlike in P3P.

One of my favorite RPGs just got better!

@MrCosmo: I just got the platinum on Gravity Rush. Absolutely a delight to play and a very unique setting and aesthetic.

Man, this is the game I would buy a Vita for.

This game is the main reason I am considering getting a Vita. With Tearaway and Gravity Rush being the only other games I have seen that seem any good.

If the quicklook of this doesn't start with "Hey, i'm Vinny!" "And i'm Jeff" "And welcome to another episode of Persona 4" then i'm going to be really disappointed.

FINALLY ! I always wanted to shop at Croco Fur. It's like a dream come true !

It probably just skirts the edges far too many times. Every individual piece of the game could probably fit under the teen rating, but when you add it all up together, it is a game chock full of mature themes from end to end. Kanji and Rise's dungeons probably pushed it the most.

Not to mention the hefty amount of swearing, though I'm not caught up on how much that actually influences the rating.

Anyone know why was the subtitle changed from The Golden? I mean, it's not a big deal at all, just curious.

@CH3BURASHKA: Yes in this version of the game (according to the JP version) you can select what skills a fusion will receive with the normal rules that some personas can't learn certain spells. The random dice roll isn't a factor any more.

Buying the white vita and instantly trading in the AC game with it. Then only waiting on this sweet game to arrive.

As much as I want to play this game, there's no way in hell I'm buying a Vita for it.

yeah, might be worth taking the plunge into Vita-world.

I kind of love the way that Persona brand UI chrome is EXPLODING out of the Vita at the end there.

Getting this and a Vita for the long Thanksgiving trip to see relatives. Perfect timing.

Perhaps the second game I'll actually enjoy on the system after New Little King's Story, which is totally bad ass.

Since I already have a Vita, I'll get this. But it'll be the only new game in a long while since I got it.

I think I am going to buy this just to have it in retainer in case I ever do get a vita.
