Decapre Is Ultra Street Fighter IV's Fifth New Character

Kind of disappointed at the "new" character. They could have gone with something more original...

While the special moves are different, the normal moves are pretty much straight out of Cammy.

What a dumb reason. There are 43 other characters.

I was pretty disappointed until I saw how she played... the trailer didn't help.

Although she may look like Cammy, her play style is completely different. She seems like she could be the Wesker of this game. Kinda looking forward to playing her.

Seems like people are more disappointed by the hype than the character. By advertising Decapre as a character that has never been playable people were most likely expecting something completely new. It could have been worse. The Street Fighter definitely doesn't need another "Ryu" type character.

That's interesting that they're referencing the Shadaloo Dolls from the Alpha series. Though I would've preferred the one who had dual axes but thats just personal preference. Looks really cool.

Well that wasn't as exiting as I thought it was going to be

Now I'm not sure if it's a heavily brainwashed Cammy or Cammy's sister or Cammy from an alternate universe, but to have her not look like Cammy would've been a bit nicer. I mean hell, she's wearing a mask and we still think she looks like Cammy.

Maaaaan. I expected nothing and I was still let down...

I would think that making her look different would cost a lot less time and money than it takes to make her play differently (and they're already doing this part) so it seems like they could have easily done both in this case, which makes me wonder why they chose to go with this design. Anyways, I doubt anybody would have been that upset by this if she had just been revealed at the same time as the other four. It seems like the main reason that people are upset is because of all the hype behind this final character reveal.

That's a disappointing choice. I'm sure it'll be fine in the long run, but why build up all the hype?

Yeah, if I didn't see that, I think I would be looking at this whole thing in a different, much more negative light. I doubt I'll use her much, but she does look fun. I'm still extremely disappointed that it's just a Cammy reskin (they seriously couldn't use any of the other fucking dolls?), but it is what is it.

Seeing Combofiend use her bounced me back from my initial disappointment, actually kind of excited to give her a shot. Rolento and Poison being in Ultra alongside the edition select already had me on board, so it's cool Decapre seems pretty fun.

I was really hoping for Alex, but already knew they said he wasn't the last character.

Sure, insofar as Seth is another costume for Guile.

They shouldn't have taken this long to reveal, set themselves up for disappointment.

I skipped Super but Ultra could draw me back in. Or maybe I'll wait for the next iteration, Hyper SFIV or whatever.

No they don't owe us anything, but to hold out on a reveal for this long and then unveiling a clone character is a little anticlimactic.

Super hype. Clearly Capcom isn't putting much money into this, so I'm glad they spent it making a character that plays different instead of a character that looks different.

@crembaw: No, the only clues they gave were female, from the extended SF universe, and never playable in a game.

Well...those classic Capcom chimes at the beginning were nice. Eh, what the hell, I've had every version of this already, it's not like I was not going to buy it.

Going to be sad when her alt costume dlc is more creative then her "paste Vega's mask on Cammy" design.

Some of the things Combofiend did with her seem interesting enough, but man what a letdown that initial reveal was.
