I played it in a local EGS and I feel exactly the same way, the Combo system feels more like a gimmick.. its basically unlimited Bioshock's plasmid "abilities" that are far "from returning the fun to FPS" as some of the marketing ads pretentiously claim..  they even seems OP to me ...the regular shooting was mehh "

Every single person whining about "dick tits" on these comments...more than likely says the same shit in day-to-day reality.  They want to complain about it in this?

I'm going to stop watching these ads because they're putting me off the game. Bulletstorm looks like it could be real fun shooter but none of the marketing makes me want to play the game.

DIcktits? Well that was sort of weird... I actually planned to pre-order this, but I get nervous when they try to sell it to hard. Gonna leave this up to the reviews instead.

THE GAME IS PREORDERING ITSELF HELP ME

I kind of enjoy it, in its sheer stupidity

None of these trailers will ever convince me to buy this. Knowing that people think this is funny, I will never buy this.

When they first showed this game I was pumped. Hey it's a fun blast-em-up like UT or Duke Nukem, I thought. Then they nosedived into the burning, sweating anus of hell with all of the arrogance and the swearing and the god awful faux corporate cool that makes me wanna barf up a lung.
 
I don't wanna say fuck this game, because it still may be great, but if the comments here and elsewhere are anything to go by the marketing has been a colossal misjudgement. Stuff like "Hey dicktit this game won't preorder itself" is as bad as, if not worse than, Jon Romero being about to make me his bitch.

Ok...

you know, this game looks like it has potential to be really fun.
 
However, the ads and trailers for it make me HATE it, they embody the very essence of "trying too hard".

i'm filing this game under "never play without headphones"  or maybe just "play without sound"

This game is going to be a linear "set piece" shooting gallery with a 3 button-ish combo system.  3/5 on a good day.

This video was the best so far because it was the shortest.

Personally I see this as the video game equivalent to the old cigarette commercials that used to use cartoon characters to appeal to kids. They can get away by saying the product is meant for adults, but everyone knows that it's really being made to appeal to the kids in the crowd because everything about that game looks to be designed to appeal the the 13 year old kid- or someone with the maturity level of that.

They need to cool it with the "dick-tits" and trying-too-hard-to-be-funny-via-excessive-swearing business.  It make it sound like the marketing team is composed primarily of homophobic fratboy douchebags.  

I was on board with this concept but "Dick-Tits" is treading in to trying-too-hard territory.

i will pick this up...but the marketing is making me feel VERY shitty about it. 
Im not some dude-bro, but i do enjoy the Blops and Gears and the occasional Bad Company...here's to this game not being a waste of $60.
