E3 2011: SSX Trailer

Finally a new SSX!

It's nice to see they are now leaning more toward the feel of the original 3 games. Here's hoping it gets even more "SSX" as time passes. This is Pre alpha stuff anyway.

With this new "realistic" look, the characters seem to only be distinguishable by their name.  They lost all the their flare they had the original games. Who knows, maybe it is too early to tell.

I wonder if there will be Ski's. I didn't play much of on tour, but as a skiier that's slightly more appealing.

Regardless, the environment of say SSX3 carried that game and playing it more than made up for any minor sport fanboyism I might have.

Super excited about this though. Was just playing SSX 3 while listening to the live stream.

I love SSX. Everything they've shown after the game of the year awards has made this game all the more exciting. I NEED THIS

They need to bring back the track for SSX Tricky so bad.

It's not the same without Rahzel.

Great loved the series, was always ott and fun. Would love to see ssx tricky as an arcade title on live or psn.

The music is from Audio Network, which just has a bunch of generic music for trailers and such. Probably won't be part of the soundtrack.

She looks nothing like Kaori. The gameplay and tracks looks like something from SSX but the rest looks nothing like an SSX game.

I didn't realize until just now how much I've missed playing these games. 
 
God, I even liked On Tour and everyone hated that one.

Give me the same awesomeness of SSX Tricky and I'm in.

I kind of liked it when it was deadly descent.

The mountains look good but it make the characters look more out of place.

@animateria: Well I'm not the best judge of what is or what isn't "punk" so I'll concede to that.

However, I'm reacting to her color scheme being mostly purple. Her hair, googles and suit backpack and even her lips all feature it prominently. It's not a very bright color and thus not associated with a "bright and cheery" personalty.

But yes, I'm also really curious to hear the characters voices in the game.
