Yes this is something I absolutely must play! Say what you want about the Dynasty Warriors games but this formula looks like it fits the universe very well. They seem to have gotten all the voice actors from the show and are highlighting the best parts of the story with a very faithful art style. It's also based on the single greatest cartoon of all time so there's that. Some may call it the greatest TV series period. If there's anyone out there who are remotely into cartoons and/or comic books there's no reason not to love this anime. I was sold the moment I learned you can play as Shirohige.

I could never get into One Piece, the character designs were just too off-putting for me. The game should be fun for fans, though; I certainly love my Dynasty Warriors: Gundam games.

Day one. I will happily be one of the six people that pick this up.

The first trailer was way better, but I'm still fucking pumped for this game. Even if I'm only around episode 200 and will have more than half of the series spoiled, I'm still gonna play it. Maybe it's because I haven't touched Dynasty Warriors since... the second one, I guess?

I wonder if they're still releasing the manga here, I was about up to the part where the video ended but it's so slow between releases nowadays.

I would be alright if the English version just included subtitles and did not bother with a dub. It would probably be less expensive for Namco-Bandai and Tecmo-Koei as well.

Brilliant use of the license. Can't wait.

At least it seems to include a decent chunk of the storyline. So there's that. Sadly, it's still Dynasty Warriors.

I abhor the Gundam animes and the Dynasty Warriors: Gundam series was fun in its own way. And it looks like they'll be using a pretty fun art style for this game.

I feel as though I've watched just enough DBZ to kind of understand the overall story, and I have to ask, how is this like DBZ at all? Aside from everyone announcing their attacks before doing them, and the occasional "I've been saving this new power to show you now!"
