oh yeah!!!i really pump about this game .

SO MUCH STORY. They're going a little here overboard here, but if it's really as 'big' as they (roughly around 30 hours...), then it's understandable as to why they'd set the grounds for bloody everything. Ada Wong, Neo Umbrella (lol), motorbikes, underwater section (ew) 4-player coop scenarios - every one of RE6's trailers is a complete clusterfuck of beautiful insanity.

Where's Fifty Cent for all these helicopters?

Good Lord. That was incredible. So many explosions. SO MANY.

This is the most Resident Evil video ever.

Looks like a really fun action game, I'm interested.

This trailer looks pretty good. But the demo they showed at the press conference looked rough.

Really thought there was no hope for this series because of how much of a train wreak 5 was; but damn it, I am hyped!

Awesome trailer and props for giving the team leads credit at the end as well.

These games have gotten more Michael Bay, haven't they? The B-movie charm has sort of gone.

Excited for it as an action game. But I can't help but miss the feel of old resident evil 1-3.

Yeah, the amount of explosions is silly, even by Resident Evil standards. There are three separate campaigns and all, so naturally there's to be an increase in the number of explosions and 5 minute self-destruct timers, but it still manages to feel like there's too much. It fits, though.

I mean at least this time it's proudly wearing its heart on its sleeve. The problem with RE5 was because it tread the line between being some slow paced survival-horror game and an action-packed shooter, and as such didn't exceed very well on either front. Don't get me wrong, I'd much prefer that RE6 would... actually forgo the steps RE5 took to distancing itself away from what RE is meant to be about and attempted to revitalise a form of survival horror, but if it's going to attempt to try and nail the full-on horror-themed action shooter, then it's best that it just throws in all of the marbles and goes wild.

EDIT: Fucking Hell, I'm contradicting myself here... It's now 1:10am, staying up for the conferences, so I'm not exactly in my finest state mentally speaking. @_@

I dunno. It looks pretty epic. I don't want more of the same and this looks like its trying some new stuff. What I'm most excited about is that while it might be less of a horror game, it looks like it has a lot of despair. I thought it was the dumbest shit in the world that Jill was infected in RE5 by the ONLY virus that a: Doesn't turn you into a hideous monster and b: is curable. The whole point of zombies is that you have to kill your former friends and family. This game looks like it might have the appropriate amount of awful things happening.

Looks fantastic. And is that blonde chick Ashley? Why does she look so much younger? Can't be her. She was like...kind of busty in RE4 and like 18. Can't be her.

Anyway, looks like a fantastic game, but I'm sure people will complain it is not like one of those clunky really-not-that-fun-or-good-but-hey-it's-kinda-charming-and-I-guess-it-has-good-ideas/potential games on the PS1.

I'm thinking that too. The trailer makes it appear as if Leon or Chris is going to die nearing the end; at the very least Ada Wong should surely die (preferably by Leon's hand because DRAAAMAAAAA!). RE5 was far too clean; none of the main heroes die and all of the antagonists get theirs. But... ugh, RE5 just gets so many things wrong that I often hate to even bring up before I start listing everything else. In short: For what it is, RE6 looks to be a much better 'RE5'.

@KoolAid: Good points. While the game seems to not have many, if any, quiet moments or dimly lit hallways with limited ammo , It seems that all out chaos has broken loose, and everyone is dumping in their trousers. RE6 seems to be embracing the horror of a full-on outbreak within a heavily populated city. You could say something similar about 1, 2, and 3, but 6 just seems very intense and desperate. I don't know, Its going to be a good game and a thrill-ride regardless. I think thats pretty obvious!

It would also be interesting if the game did have some painful moments/choices like choosing between two characters lives, or saving a close loved one or a group of unknowns...or having to kill an INFECTED CHRIS!!

This seems cool, but I havent played any of the resident evil games.

Doesnt this sequel business have severe diminishing returns due to less people playing/continuing to follow the franchise? Seems weird
