E3 2013: Fez II Announcement Teaser

Commenting in 2021, thinking about what could have been.

Man, they mentioned this teaser on Idle Thumbs and I just had to watch it again.

Even if it's the same game as Fez 1 but looks like everything is out of the Tron film (of life inside the computer), I'll play it.

I keep playing this every couple of days just to hear the musical flourish. It's so very 80's THX that it makes my spine reverberate. Good things.

Successful creative-types tend to be assholes, get over it.

Woo-hoo! Now if I can just get through this busted-ass PC version of Fez 1...

Fez 2 - The End Of Phil Fish's Sanity

I hear this is just the patch that fixes the original game. Super cheap to develop too. Only $40,000 I hear.

Real talk, I really wish I could ignore his asshole attitude and like Fez. Lost enough progress because of the bug he refused to fix (and now seems to not even acknowledge) wipes my save, and I don't think I can go back.

Just want to say how ingenious the trailer is. For those that have played the game, the trailer holds special significance, especially as the line extends and you realize what you're watching. Can't wait to see where he goes with it.

Good to know people are still as childish and reactionary as ever about Phil Fish. Being incapable of separating the art from the artist is a great way to limit your experiences, keep it up!

I feel like a lot of these commenters came here just to to take shots at Phil Fish. It's pretty childish, you love his game but you hate him. If that's the case; Don't buy the game, don't support him. If you are going to buy it, and you're going to support him, then do it, but get off of your goddamn soapboxes. He said some shit you didn't agree with when he was under immense pressure. People have done nothing but troll and insult him since, and what does he do? He keeps making games for you entitled little brats. Give the guy a break already.

Is Orson Scott Card still a homophobic asshole? Yes, but Ender's Game was still good.

Fuck you Phil Fish. You skull fucked me with your first game and you never even called. I loved Fez but the idea of repeating that kind of madness is insane.

He never was. He's actually a really cool guy who's very opinionated. Like David Jaffe or Jon Blow. Except actually more likable than those two.

In any case, this might be the anouncement of the show for me. Holy shit, Fez II.
