El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron E3 Trailer

The title is funny, it's actually a religion in the Philippines, a Christian sect.

Love the art style. 

That was trippy.

Pretty stunning visual style, but I'm a bit concerned about how minimalist some of the settings seemed.  I'm starting to have concerns about my retinas melting into puddles of jelly from all of the stark whites.

Watching this was rough. Im getting used to the 1-2 minute tidbits we get from all the other trailers.

I'm getting a Panzer Dragoon vibe from this. It looks like Panzer Dragoon concept art come live, realistic faces but everything else is stylized with neon watercolors.

That weapon looks pretty dumb.

Looks really bizarre, good to see some try something visually striking from everything else. will keep this one on my radar for sure.

This game looks really pretty, but it sounds really dumb.
 
We can always turn to Japan for a bunch of weird interpretations of monotheistic symbolism!

Looks like it could be a very good high-art game.  I love Clover and everything they did before closing, and the other offshoots... so I'll definitely give this one a try.
 
Don't care much for the title, though.  But that's very minor.

Might be relevant to the Dead Sea Scrolls in some loose way. Not familiar with the Red. "

" I'm a little confused. The page for this game said it's being made by Ignition. Devil May Cry and Viewtiful Joe were Capcom. The video's caption says from the makers of DMC and VJ.  But hey. It looks really nice. "

I have absolutely no idea how this game is supposed to play. Is it a 2.5D side-scroller? Is it a 3D brawler? No fucking clue. Looks pretty though.

Reminds me of Galactik Football, the art style does.

Intriguing is the word for the impression I got on this game. 
 
The art design and the animation looks beautiful, but the story doesn't make any sense.  I'll wait for the reviews to come out.

It looks terrible, art style and all. Though the falling hand at the start looked incredible.

This game is kind of freaking me out. Besides the terrible weapon design I'm really interested in this.

That guy is on a seriously heavy dose of LSD.

While Enoch's design is kind of funky and I'm not quite sold on the combat, I love the art style they're going for and the story so far looks very intriguing. I'll definitely give this game a go when it comes out.
