I never could get into Little Big Planet, not that I dislike the game in away but just didn't have the feel for it. Disney Infinity looks like a really fun game. Hope the review turns out great.

LBP was a great set of creation tools, but the platforming was just so bad that I too could never get into it as much as I wish I could. Infinity looks cool, but I'm not going to buy current gen versions of it. I'm sure it'll get ported to PS4 at some point... Probably not PC.

It will not get ported to the next gen, I'm positive of that.

@larrydavis: I do have to agree, The platforming was not meant for me either, good point on waiting for the next gen to show up, just hope the figures are not so rare to find.

@axlefgk: It IS skylanders. There are some videos on here of Johnny V demonstrating the game. They have figures and a portal, just like Skylanders. So, I'm assuming the included characters come with the base set. Any other characters you want, you'll need to buy the figs.

Really cool. It's great to see awesome new games that both kids and adults can enjoy. That's becoming a rarity nowadays.

I tried clicking the other videos to watch, it didn't do anything. I was so close to being sold on the game too. Oh well, guess I'll keep my money.

@mostman: I don't know why but the fact that you get a physical figurine is so much more appealing than just having straight DLC.

What lbp lacked was weapons... Looks like this will have some. And no, not talking about paint guns lol.

I want a game like this but more of shadow complex style, real enemies, and weapons, for us old folk lol.

I don't see how this game could appeal to kids, it would probably be too complicated for them.

"Your imagination is your only limitation" we were going to invoke this, but instead we decided to just rip off a 30 year old video game, and prey on your child hood.

That would be awesome! Johnny V's attacks would be nothing but Ice T impressions. John Drake would have the Diet Coke cannon. John Drake would also have the ability to rudely interrupt Brad Muir while he tries to tell interesting stories about game development.

The Diet Coke cannon is a good concept, but John Drake would never discard full cans of Diet Coke. So the reloading animation needs to have him chug the can, crumple it up, and then shove it in the cannon.

Totally! Also 1st screen of Donkey Kong and maybe Donkey Kong screen 4? No idea if the flight one @1:03 is related to anything but maybe there's Joust @1:07 too. And generic 3rd person runner.

No game developer would want to risk breaking Vinny's Law.

It appeals to kids by having pretty much every major Disney property in the game. Thats how it appeals to kids.

Toy box mode looks fucking awesome.

I would play this if not for the figure and disc investment. Same with Skylanders.
