That trailer is just as cheesy as I would expect a FFXIII sequel to be. I'm still really excited, though. Really enjoyed XIII.

It's that guy.. his big brother was a huge pain in the ass in XIII. 10000 damage and silence each round are you kidding me? But it's nice to be able to fight alongside the cactus people.

I like they're keeping up with hiring otherwise unhirable voice actors who cover the niche market for "unlistenably annoying"

And yet, I'm totally into it. Hope not being a little bitch looks interesting, thetime travel stuff looks like it might have some dr who "this can never be, I have to kill" awesome darkness, and quick time events. Can't have everything I guess.

This is gonna be the first main FF I think I'll wait for some reviews before buying it. FF13 sure taught me. But where the hell is FFV-13?

the game is going along well but more interested in versus 13 cuase nomura is heading it and definantly a different appoarch for a final fantasy game but nomura seriously...get to kingdom hearts 3 already

The lack of lip sync (probably due to the fact that they haven't altered the cut scenes from the Japaense version) is a little annoying but hey time travel in a JRPG, that's original right? Still, I'm ready for another Final Fantasy XIII game.

As a huge fan of Final Fantasy VI, one of my favorite gaming experiences, it's sad to realize I wouldn't play Final Fantasy XIII and XIII 2 for free.

I don't really play many JRPG's anymore mostly because well Westerns are better? However I may see myself giving this game a chance I didn't play 13 hell the only FF game I've played was X-2 which was fucking awful. And according to my ff nerd friends was one of the worst ones.

However the lip sync b/c they where to lazy to translate to english pretty takes you out of both these trailer easily.

Saw a lot of this at TGS this year, I'm pretty excited for it. Was probably the highlight of my TGS (along with getting some hands on time with the Vita, which still has me concerned in the battery life department)

So they have a rip off the Empress of Time from Prince of Persia, only it's a dude, and he fights with a rip off of soul edge to prevent time-pocalypses? BUH?

@Jmangino: I'm the opposite from you, I don't really play WRPGs cause I much prefer the JRPG experience, but you may be better off playing XIII before this, since it involves the same world and some of the same characters. Aside from some pacing concerns (aka, it's slow for a long time. Though if you're newer to JRPGs that may be a good thing) it's actually a pretty enjoyable game, and probably some of the best combat system in the series.

I love how they look nothign like japanese people. They are ghostly fashion models with rayon hair. Nobody has even vague dna-roots of what the man on the street sees in the mirror. Give me someone with dark hair and an epicanthic fold!

Oh well, Its a shame that fecund games like these are what came from the goodness of FF1. I'll never forget how i was once free to walk a world map and slay Wz Ogres, Gr Ogres, Gr Imps, Naochos, Caribes, Geists and Fr Wolfs.

That song was almost bad as Hope. Almost.

Wow the story actually sounds pretty good, but fuck Hope, he sucks. Fun fact, that dude at 1.04 is Liam O'Brienhe played Akihiko on Persona 3, Grimoire Weiss on Nier and War on Darksiders.

So I totally started playing my copy of XIII that I've had laying around since it came out, and I'm enjoying it. With it being such a devisive game I really didn't know what to expect. My favorite character so far is probably Hope, I find his massive amounts of teenage angst hi-la-rious!

Now I'm not gonna watch any of these trailers but I bet this will be out by the time I'm done with the first game, so that's neat.

I loved FF up until X. Then it started getting really melodramatic and hiring Pop artists to write shitty music for it. I was looking forward to XIII-2 but this was such a turn off for me for the series.
