Give Your Weapons An Extra Kick in Modern Warfare 3

Say what you want about Activision or CoD or cash cow or blah blah blah but these games do that reflex twitch shooter better then any other game in my opinion. Battlefield games are a different animal as are Halo games. Love both of those too, but this looks rad and I'm gonna play it. I don't care if it's cool right now to hate on this. I'll enjoy this just like I'll enjoy Battlefield.

Wow, I just realized that they are back to prominently featuring the Call of Duty title, after downplaying it in MW2.

The reason that I love the MW games is the same reason I loved Soldier Of Fortune 2. It's fast as hell, and shit is constantly going down. I have tons of fun with both Battlefield and MW, but they are totally different games.

So.......now they are restricting how the guns handle until you spend hours leveling them up?.........gee no thanks!

Man, this sure looks like a modern warfare game...

@ArcLyte: Did you play it on like the lowest settings possible or something? There's something wrong with you if you don't agree that BF3 looks graphically better than MW3. MW3 looks just like MW2.

Mom always said that if i didnt have anything nice to say, i shouldnt say anything. So here goes: I like that you can shoot dudes with that automatic shotgun. There, that was easy. Now to go scream into a pillow.

Sound effects in this game are just embarassing in comparison with Battlefield 3.

Experience bars for guns, too?

This just looks like a 60 dollar map pack for mw2.. People ask what the CoD killer will be, and it seems to me that it's killing itself

Because the spergs needed more ways to assure that their 80 hours of play a week allow them to bowl over the people with actual jobs and outside obligations. That or they decided to rip of Ratchet and Clank. Come to think of it, this game needs a sheep gun.

There was one of these out two years ago, it was called Modern Warfare 2. What were you thinking?

People talk as if there will be any newbies after the first couple months. People have gotten so effective with leveling it's like WOW now, you can just crush through the levels and then people are left with little to upgrade. Gotta keep the drip of stuff coming!

I don't understand why people are beginning to tremble and sweat over something so minute.

No matter what the game is, you pay a price for releasing one every single year.

Did you see how fast you can knife someone around the 1:00 minute mark? It looks as though this game was designed for toddlers; I have always hated the ridiculous knife kills in the CoD franchise since the maps are always poorly designed without any emphasis on team-play. And also the killcams! Why must you give my position away! What is the point of SNIPING if they know where you are? Someone pLEASE tell them to stop this madness! All that camouflage I wear wont hide that dreaded killcam... and those knives will keep coming i'm so scared! These two guys rub me the wrong way; its like they're trying desperately to get me to buy this new super duper soaker quirt gun but I already have last years model the super soaker squirter gun. I am really just content with what I have. I don't want to pay 60 more bucks for something I already own that shoots water.

Reduced kick? Are you serious? Almost all rifles are like laser beams already in CoD.

Why the hate? I think the guys on the bombcast got it right, MW is the modern day version of the shooters we used to play on the PC back in the late 90's. Quake 3, Unreal Tournament, Team Fortress. Fast, furious, fun and silly. What is wrong with that?

Its hard to get any excitment for this after playing BF3 the last few days. I'l pass.

Your joking right? If not, you haven't even seen BF3 on PC and just put "insert random BS here" into the comments.

Just the character models in BF3 on PC got more details then the entire view you get in COD:MW3 by the videos and screenshot seen to date. Dice had already beaten CoD in Bad Company 2. By far, in all aspects of this, game play, BF have always had the upper hand compared to the run and gun in COD, but, modeling, animations, details? The fact that you just say MW3 is better in any way, shows you haven't even looked at BF3. MW3 still looks like MW1. As you can see from the screenshot. COD got nothing, at all, on anything there, compared :p

I haven't cared about Call Of Duty in such a long time, and haven't played the multiplayer since Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, but this really makes me want to try it out again.

I feel like I'm going against everything I stand for with that sentiment, but maybe I need something mindless again for multiplayer. Or I can just go back to Super Street Fighter IV.

I'll be interested in CoD when they'll change that fucking, gross Quake 3 engine. Its the same fucking engine since ages. It really starts to look dated as fuck.

Protip : Don't ask the two ugliest motherfuckers in the team to narrate gameplay vids, please.

So, why would I want to buy this game when I'm enjoying BF3? And Skyrim is coming out as well. I don't have time for this stuff. It looks fun but it doesn't get me excited. Sorry, I still won't play MW. :(
