Wow seriously Rockstar? 2 months after the (next) console release? Guess you want that sweet holiday sale money....for an old game.

Any excuse to watch another R* trailer is good for me.

I have GTA V on 360. Don't own a new console yet, but eventually I'll get one and eventually I'll get this for it. It's definitely not the best game ever, but it's a special one. And gosh darn it if it don't look purty.

Finally the PC version, so we can get what we really want out of GTA V

This is the #1 reason I'm buying a PS4 right now. I'll replay the story mode too.

I know it's just a port of a game I've already played, but look at that foliage! Rockstar really put in a lot of effort to make it noticeably better. It's the first current gen port I've seen that looks like a HUGE upgrade.

Day one buy for me, I'm so ready to jump back in with the enhancements on PS4. To be honest I might have waited for the PC release if it weren't two months after or that I hadn't had a nightmare with the PC release of GTA 4 so I'll stick to console for this one.

Yup, so getting this when the real version finally comes out in January. I already played it on PS3, so I can wait.

If this isn't a great port (to the PC), I'm never buying Rockstar again. They have fucked up with GTA V on so many levels outside of the quality of the actual game, it's hard to want to support that.

The PC delay is unfortunate but dont forget, you get to play the game optimized for as yet to be released PC hardware. It like having a piece of the future right now! And in 5 years time when your new PC can finally play it at 25fps it would be like going back into the future!

Neat. There are plenty of games to play, the delay on PC doesn't bother me. The official forums are full of people saying they're going to pirate the game. Rockstar has no reason to even put it out on PC. I'm glad it's coming, I don't care when. I'll get the PC version later next year after I see how the mods are. Getting PS4 version day one though.

Is Rockstar completely inept when it comes to the PC? Every other port they've done has had shitty optimization and came out way later.

Max Payne 3 is an exception.

Didn't complete the PS3 version when they announced a next-gen was in the works. Will definitely by this again.

I don't know, but their attitude towards the PC platform is making the belligerent part of me want to pirate it out of spite. And I know if I feel that way, I'm going to be far from the only one. They're creating a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Disclaimer: I don't pirate good games on principal, because I want to see more of them, so I'll probably just wait till it's a fiver on Steam - but that said they really aren't doing themselves any favours when it comes to the PC market.

Good thing this is actually coming out so I'll have something to play on my PS4. Everything else I wanted got delayed!

Question - is Rockstar going to release a bunch of DLC content for this game and then release a 'complete edition' another 10-18 months from now? I would be happy to keep waiting to buy GTA V if that is the case.

I'll just assume that is going to be the case.
